When John was a boy he thought he'd like to be
a magician when he grew up. At one point he realized he couldn't do
both, so he chose to be a magician and never did "grow up."

Los Bandits
Rene Meave and Guillermo Martinez were the original
members of Los Bandits of Michigan, which started in 1989.
Initially, they created the music group for children, using music
and humor for cultural education and sensitivity, with a migrant
farm-worker theme.
Since then they've created their own Texas Tejano
music that came to Michigan and stayed. Their band plays Tex Mex,
Norteno, Rock, Country, and some Blues, also.”

will wow you with his Goose Calling Demonstration.
Tyler has been practicing all year for this event and
his parents have invested in a diverse repertoire
of Goose Calls to enable him to express his talent.

CHILDREN'S PARADE
Bring your bicycle, wagon, pet
or just walk. The children's parade
will take place at 11:00 am
on Saturday, Oct 10th
Students from Claudette Lee's dance classes will perform for us
again this year. Dance routines include Ballet, Jazz/Hip-Hop,
Creative Movement and Modern. Slides at right show some of the dancers during a
recent recital at Fennville High School
Dancers will march in the parade and
perform on stage at: 12:00 noon Saturday, October 10th
The seven-man band called Funktion, well-known as
a Funk/Soul/Jam Band, will entertain the 25th annual Goose Festival
crowd on Saturday, October 10, beginning at 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
The high-energy group, with their driving
percussion and soulful vocals, delivers a blend of soul and funk
with a hip-hop beat that also bridges the genres of rock and jazz.
Diego, the backbone and vocals
for the band, Soulz of Rhythm, has been a professional musician for
ten years. Blessed with an extraordinary voice, he started with a
three-piece band, hung out at Karaoke bars and sang along until the
audience suggested he sing on his own, he had such a good voice.
The Loose Goose
Trolley will again be on hand Saturday and Sunday and make regular runs to
the Todd Farm. This is a 45 minute tour of the Fennville area which
ends at the Todd Farm Wild Game Reservation. A tour guide will be
pointing out historical points of interest and the migratory habits
of the Canadian Geese during this tour.
Saturday Schedule: 11am, 12noon, 2pm, 3pm. There will be no
tour at 1pm because of the Main Parade at 1pm.
